The city is famous for its museums, beaches, and a plethora of Hollywood-related attractions. The Cathedral of Our Lady of Angels is located in downtown LA. Also known as the Los Angeles Cathedral, is the mother church for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The Cathedral opened in 2002 and replaces the Cathedral of Saint Vibiana, which was demolished after being damaged in the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. The Cathedral is the third largest in the US and one of the most architecturally innovative structures in the city. It is home to a charming plaza and gardens that are open to the public.

There are numerous museums in the greater LA area, including two lesser known yet interesting options. The Homestead Museum highlights the history of California, focusing on the years between 1830 and 1930. It includes several historic houses, a private cemetery, and a number of maps, photographs and other artifacts. The Los Angeles Maritime Museum celebrates the history of the California coast. It is housed in the former Municipal Ferry Terminal building in San Pedro. It features the American Merchant Marine Veterans Memorial and a monument to the US Navy cruiser Los Angeles as well as a variety of exhibits and artifacts of maritime history.

The Biodome is an incredible and unique experience that includes a realistic depiction of four ecosystems and guests can walk through and see over 4,800 animals. The Montreal Biodome includes zoo and aquarium space and has a diverse selection of shows and attractions. She’s definitely one of the most stunning rises in contemporary music, not only in Brazil. Ceu plays all over the world, and there’s plenty of good reasons. Her slick and sultry voice dances hauntingly over the band, and she manages to work with some of the best musicians in the country. She grew up in a very musical family, and from a very early age found that her interest in singing also lead her to explore many forms from Brazil’s complex musical history.

This is the place that’s famous for some of the best nightclubs in the world, and where Rio de Janeiro hotels mean an urban adventure in a splendid place. Ceu herself hails from Sao Paolo , one of the other great music centers, but she does make her way to Rio with a gracious frequency.

Her band’s Urban Jungle label has been active lately, pushing out new work by this musician who is able to stimulate the heart along with the mind. Most of her fans will be there to see her live in order to soak up the deep flavors, and heat, of the music.
