Many high school graduates look forward to graduation with great anticipation. Not only because they are finished with school but also because they have the exciting new world of college to look forward to. Even though it means taking more classes, it often means moving away from home, meeting new friends, and a whole host of new experiences and new opportunities. However, after college many students are left wondering what to do. For the vast majority of their lives they have had the predictability of school and without that they feel a little bit lost.
The most logical step for most would be to find a job and organizations like the southwestern company like to hire young, energetic sales people; however with the economy in the tank and the unemployment rate continuing to rise , the job search could be quite a challenge. With few jobs available and lots of people looking, many new graduates are getting creative.
Some will settle for whatever job they can find, even if it is not in their desired field. Even though this may not be their ideal plan, it can help them gain more experience and someday land their dream job. Another option, that is also open to soon-to-be grads, is an internship. Internships offer many different options. Some are paid while others are unpaid, but all offer on the job experience that can help give you a leg up on the competition when it comes to applying for a job . Internships are offered all of the time; some internships are during the semester and some internships are during the summer, as with Southwestern Company. Internships are beneficial because they supplement all of the classroom learning with practical on the job experience.
Walking across the stage and accepting that diploma for the last time can be an exciting yet scary time. Life after graduation will be a transition. While it is important to have a plan, it is also important to be flexible; new opportunities could be waiting just around the corner.

There have been a lot of commercials on television lately about cash advance loans, which got me wondering, is there a reason cash advance loans are better than other loans? There are a few reasons why, and they mostly have to do with the speed and convenience of a cash advance loan. When you take out a cash advance loan, you are borrowing against your next paycheck. Most loan agreements will show this by making the due date on the loan a day or two after you are due to be paid. As long as you do not take out too big a loan this can take the pressure off you for a week or so and let you get back up on your feet. This also means that you do not have any collateral you have to put up for the loan, so if something happens the loan company can not take your house or your car. These loans only work however if they are paid back and they don’t insist on collateral as a sign of good faith, not to say that you can borrow money from them and walk away.
These loans are fast. If you get on the internet and find a cash advance loan today , you can have the money in your bank account tomorrow. This means that when you don’t have the money to pay the bills or if a financial emergency comes up, you can have the money right away to buy what you need to survive. Sometimes these emergencies seem small at first but become larger as you understand the consequences better, like the possibility of overdraft fees that when added all together cost over $300. These emergencies can also be big, such as a storm wrecking the roof of your house. These loans are designed just for these types of hard times and can literally keep a roof over your head by giving you the money fast so someone can fix the roof.
What you will need to know before applying for the loan is that you must be eighteen or older to take out these loans, and you must have a job making $800 or more per month. There may also be some other restrictions depending on state and company you go with. You may want to ask further questions or look into other sites to find out more about these loans.

And exhibit opens this coming Thursday at the Museum of the Arizona Historical Society. This exhibit will illustrate the incredible life and career of an incredible woman, Supreme Court Judge Sandra Day O’Connor. The museum is located close to Papago Park in Tempe, Arizona and will include photographs, iconic artifacts including her collar and her judicial robe and items from her childhood while she grew up on the Lazy B Ranch as well as other personal items from the family’s collection, and will include a video presentation of her life…a document from youth throughout her years of education, and her career in both the civic and the legal worlds.
O’Connor has become an icon, a female icon for just what a girl can accomplish in this day and age, and she did it all, in her day and age. She became the leading voice for females throughout the United States, spanning twenty five years. She was born in 1930, and prior to her Supreme Court seat, the first held by a woman in the history of the United States–appointed to her by President Ronald Reagan, she served as a judge for the state of Arizona, and Associate Justice. In 2006, the Law College of ASU was named for Sandra Day O’Connor. She has remained influential and retained a spirit that is unequaled.
Any young girl who dreams of a career in any law office in the country, or any woman dreams of reaching her goals to the best of her aspirations and abilities, will find inspiration in the exhibit and in the life of this remarkable woman. Not only will the exhibit open, but her house, an adobe house wherein she raised her children has been moved to the site of the Historical Society and will continue to serve as a gathering place and office for those who wish to join her in her continued efforts towards political and social reforms in the State of Arizona, civil action resulting from civil talk. Just a few days ago she was awarded by President Barack Obama, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. This the highest honor bestowed upon a civilian in the United States, and one that is well deserved.

Terrorism is defined as the systematic way in which terror is used as a means of control and coercion. The definitions of terrorism are varied and generally have come to refer to the acts that are committed for a goal of maintaining a certain ideal or ideology, usually based on political or religious beliefs. The complete disregard for the value of human life is one of the most horrific aspects of the criminal acts committed by terrorist cells active today. That is why the investigation and the destruction of the sources of terrorist financing are such important issues, to the world and to the safety of all those living within that world. The violence that is committed is just one of the criminal elements of terrorism. One that has in the past proved to be an ineffective way of attaining those goals that are set out to be accomplished. The attacks on the United States in 2001 did not serve to turn Americans nor the rest of the world against freedom and democracy, they only served to strengthen the resolve of protecting those values.
Terrorism is an element of human destruction that is highly charged, emotionally and politically. This aspect serves to further create difficulty when clearly defining the term. In 1988 the United States Army conducted a study which revealed at that time that more than one hundred definitions were attributed to the word terrorism. It is almost a certainty that modern times might produce an even larger number. The controversy also has an impact on the ways different countries and organizations attempt to define legitimate and legal actions, especially when concerned with the policies of a different culture or country. What one group sees as corruption is not necessarily in line with the definition and conditions found by another group. These definitions must be made clear, as the world must come together to end corruption and further acts of terrorism.

The advances made in the last few decades in the systems of communication and the technology of information has transformed the ways in which anti-money laundering and anti-corruption organizations conduct their investigations. Now it seems that there is always an escape route which provides criminals with the easy means of vanishing the transactions of money made illegally through the assistance of electronic and computerized transactions.
This is an area of the war against corruption which must be monitored constantly, as the businesses of the world’s more advanced and wealthy nations have an advantage over businesses in countries that have no access to this side of globalization. Globalization and the state of a country’s economy have often times been connected to the evidence found and the occurrence of corruption. Developed countries are proving to be those that are more involved in the laundering of money, of bribery and of corruption. Ironically, corruption and poverty generally go hand in hand, and the gap between the wealthy and the poor gets larger as time passes.
With this kind of link between corruption and developing nations the law enforcement agencies as well as the justice systems are also believed to be becoming more entrenched in corruption. The justice systems of the world must remain honest and with integrity in order to effectively tackle criminal activities, as during this era of the threat of terrorism throughout the globe. Bribery and the threat of other forms of corruption serve to threaten the backbone of democracy and can even encourage some in society and the government in criminal endeavors. Accountability and transparency must be enforced. The public must become aware of the processes and practices of the police departments and the justice systems in order for all the information to remain open and under the careful watch of the public as well as the anti-corruption agencies.
